I am getting ready glue on bracing, but this Texas humidity is terrible! I do my cutting and sanding out in the garage, but I plan to glue the bracing on inside so I just need a dehumidifier big enough to keep a bedroom. Lowe's sells the Frigidaire brand, but the customer reviews on Lowes.com are not too good. Just wondering what you have or recommend. thanks |

I bought one from lowes, It might be that one (I forget how big the tank is) All I can say is try to pipe the drain out somewhere. I have mine tied in to the sump pump on my HVAC. Otherwise you will be emptying the tank everyday. Other than that it works fine. Richard |

I bought one from Lowe's too. I don't know what size it is. I've got a pipe going through the floor, and out behind my shop. I have to take it half way apart and blow the dust out of it every now and then but it works great. |

Jonathan, I'm not too far from you in Beaumont, and I agree the humidity has been brutal. I bought a Soleus unit online for about $325 a year ago and it works great, and pretty quiet too. My shop is pretty tight and insulated, and when the humidity is like today, it removes about a gallon a day, and will keep my shop around 50% |

I got a GE 65 Pint Dehumidifier, AHR65LM, this year and I'm real happy with it so far. My shop is fairly tight and is 12' x 22'. No problem keeping humidity at 45% even if it is 85% outside. Definitely connect up the drain to go outside, the bucket will fill up more often than you like. |
