Looks like this will work. ![]() Problem is , I have a first generation rotozip, do they all have the same base?- I am using a 3 point mounting system, one is a screw in the back of the base??? ![]() |

![]() ![]() looks like it will work just fine .... BTW .. the idea behind my making this in the first place belongs to the late Richard Schneider - I modded a similar design of his that used a blade to accept a lam trimmer, an used UHMW plastic instead of machined aluminum/steel. |

That's the weakness of the rotozip, poor base made of plastic with inaccurate depth control. That said, I have used a rotozip on my first couple of guitars for routing binding channels with good results. Even with a homebuilt modified base that I built, it was too time consuming setting the depth accurately... I now use a Bosch Colt for bindings. But if time was spent to build a base with accurate depth control, the rotozip has ample power and a decent collet. Chuck |

Good point Chuck .. I was talking only about the base when I said it should work, but I have no idea how good/bad a rotozip is .. never realy looked at one. get a PC7310 .... works for me .. all 7 of em !!! |
