I am working on a project design for a multi-scale 27.9-28.9 baritone. What sting gauges are typicly used ? |

Michael, I think that partly depends on what you want to tune it too. If it is any help I build a 27.5" string it with heavy strings and it usually gets tuned C - C or C# - C#. Josh |

I use the John Pierce open F (low string tuned to C, 66-15 I think) for C-C tunings, and the Daddario EXP 23 (70-16) for B-B. My preference is the B tuning, more common chords with a guitar in std. |
