Hi Folks!

For your viewing pleasure, I have just published a profile on The Tree Mahogany as part of my ongoing tonewood database. As always, improvements, corrections and additional information/ your own experiences are much appreciated- I'll update the profile citing you and linking back to you! If you have an experiences or data to share, I would be very grateful.

I can't link pics directly to here so do pop by to

for the full Visual presentation. As always, I present the text portion of the interview for your consideration- although I do highly recommend popping by to see the pics!

Warmest regards,
Terence

Cool stuff! I would point out that there's some inconsistency in the years in the story, at least to me they seem seem to jump back and forth. eek

Very cool indeed. I had wondered about that name as I had seen it in a few places, now I know. Thanks.

Good article Terence, I knew some of the history but that laid it all out very nicely. Interesting that, the slope dread I have up on your site is supposed to be from the tree but I couldn't verify it. Got the wood from a guy in Cotopaxi, Co. and I've lost track of him so no way to tell now.

Laters and thanks for the article,
Alan D.

Thank you for the kind words guys! I got most of the info from a number of california woodworkers as well as that Mark Berry Article from Fine Woodworking back in the 80's.
