What better place to ask... I am writing a paper that contains a bit about being a professional luthiers wife in all its glory. And wondering, those of you building professionally, if you have a partner, if they find the title intrinsic for them (if not the wife bit but the possible subject matter) if they would like to be interviewed (via email) If so, can y'all forward your partners to email me at colleen@kettfamily.com THANKS! |

Colleen, You need to get ahold of Mary McKnight. She is very involved and definitely an important part of the McKnight team! |

Another one that has a long term partnership in this business is Rosemary Wagner, Roger Siminoff's spouse. Google Siminoff banjo and mandolin parts. They are GREAT people, very generous and passionate about all of this. They are not on the OLF but are on occasion on the Mandolin Cafe. Shane |

Coleen, another that is very involved is Charles Fox's wife (Denise Richards Fox). Charles established a membership here but has never posted to my knowledge. You could contact Denise via the American School of Lutherie website. She handles all the school's affairs and builds and maintains all three of Charles websites. She also does all of the photography. A very sweet lady and I'd bet would be more than happy to participate.

Colleen, My wife, Paula has been an integral part of my business, Omega Guitars since we started it back in 1991. She has had as much to do with our success as i have, by all means.
