Post subject: | Miracle Glue.... is it different? |
Seen some hype about Miracle Glue being a better product than other CA glues. Anybody tried it or know of it. I can't get any info from the web, as most every hit is either quoting the Miracle Glue spiel or it is linked to their site. The interest that I have is the fact that Miracle Glue doesn't have any solvents & it dries flexible. No solvents may cure the problem that I have with Super Glue of collateral fogging of materials. The outgasing is my biggest gripe, but if it is better in other ways I would like to know. Any independent assessment of this product is appreciated. Thanks, kev |

Never heard of the stuff. 20 gram (1 oz) bottle for $16 is bloody expensive though. Starbond is really the place you want to buy your CA glues from. They manufacture it and re-bottle for most other sellers. Went to the Miracle Glue website and there is just to much smell of 'snake oil' for it to really be "better". And honestly for our uses, good old CA is all we need. |

This has come up before on other woodworking forums. Miracle glue is CA glue.....they're just hoping you don't know/notice. Use ordinary CA glue. Dave F. |
