Hi guys, I've been out of the loop, too many irons in the fire. Got a nice picture of my latest guitar, a 13 fret Nick Lucas Special, called "Dylan's Guitar" I was in a rush to get some pictures before it shipped, and by accident one turned out really nice. Lucky. |

You guys know all the details of this stuff don't you? It's some white wood and two kinds of dark wood. The inside of the case was green. |

Ok, I've had my dinner, I'll be less surly now. Red spruce top, some of Hibdon's finest Honduras posing as back & sides, and the creamy dark stuff is Mad Rosewood. My customer began with his desire for a similar guitar to Bob Dylan's refinished / repaired NLS, without it being a slavish Gibson copy. It was a difficult build in many respects, but it ended up sounding great, with more "echo" from the deeper body. |
