Don't just empty your dust collector. List the contents on Ebay as nano-lumber! Dennis |

I don't think you could get enough superglue into those pieces to make 1 binding strip... Long, wavy cracks was all I needed to see.... You would have the patented "Brazilian Superglue Bindings" Thanks John |

This guy has been selling scraps of BRW for a while. The cracks in this are very bad but you never know what people will buy off ebay. |

David Newton wrote: bliss Ha! You guys missed out on this one altogether. He must have been taking the picture from a third story window. I went ahead and bought the wood, and it is 2" thick and 8" wide, and really long! you know, somebody has to say the following: just what have you been stuffing in your pipe today? the above given link to the auction is still active and is open for about 24 more hours....there is also no Buy Now option, so it will remain open until it expires (unless Cook Woods decides to break eBay rules) the dimensions stated for the wood are as follows: Sizes: 36-3/4" x 1" x 1/8" 25-1/8" x 1-15/16" x 1/8" assuming you are totally mistaken and purchased another bundle of wood with the specs you give, congratulations.... the above described wood is, as others have noted, pretty useless for a luthier because of the reasons mentioned... |

This is doable for a back and sides... Slice it with a 3-micron Kerf laser beam... Make 9 "Back" slices 1 15/16" x 0.060" thick and 10 "Sides" slices 1" x 0.060" thick. Just exercise "Normal" care during Jointing and all should be A-OK. We don't call it "Paper thin"... Why it's at least 20x as thick as normal paper.... We call it A "Responsive Back" and "Easy to Bend Sides" Thanks John |

I have a bunch of exotic toothpicks for sale? They are somewhat weathered from saliva and mastication though. I'm sure they can be reused. They are now dry again. ![]() MK |

I love the smell of BRW. I've seen closets lined in cedar. I wonder if I could get enough Braz........"micro lumber" to line a closet ![]() ![]() ![]() |
