Hi Again, I'm interested in a bridge plate mounted active transducer system. What (if anything) do I need to accomplish towards installation before I close up the body? Thanks. Dave |

Dave, if you are thinking of a system like K & K you can install it after the guitar is all together. That is what they suggest so that you can affix them temporarily first to be sure that they are doing the job they are supposed to do. Shane |

also make sure the bridge plate extends far enough towards the x-brace for the transducer to attach to. Sometimes they are too short and you have to make a shim. |
