Peter, I was just over at Peach State Lumber and they had a slab of curly bubinga 10 feet long, four feet wide, and 3" thick. Still has the bark on the edge. It was an awesome slab of wood - only $10,000... Http://www.peachstatelumber.com/home.htm P.S. They may have some smaller sizes available. |

Ya, I just have quilt. Sets like these: Attachment: Bub sap.jpg Attachment: Bubinga.jpg It does not sound that this is what you are looking for but it ALWAYS nice to have options! ![]() Shane |

I have these two pieces you might like. One is 7+ wide and one is 11+. They are 8 feet long, smooth at one inch. I have been selling this to support a cuban mahogany habit. Mike Mcgrail |

I bought some sets of fiddleback bubinga from Larry Davis (Gallery Hardwoods) several years ago. I don't know if he has any these days, he didn't when I contacted him about a replacement set of sides about 3 or 4 years ago (yup, broke a side, the stuff can be difficult to bend on a pipe ![]() |

Tony, that's pommele figure and not curly in that big bubinga slab. Last I saw it was marked "sold" to a furniture maker. I live in Acworth. I've spoke with John about shipping some of my wood into Peach State for consignment, but I'm to lazy to put it together. Hi Arnt..long time.. I have curly left along with waterfall, birdseye and pommele but since I retired it's to much work to cut it ![]() Shane, your figure is also pommele and not quilt. |

Hi Larry, how have you been? So, what do we have to do to drag you out of retirement and start offering tonewoods again? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
