Well, my favorite in the zoot stash is my curly spanish cedar back/side set.

I put some curly spalted maple headplates and rosette blanks in thepicture as well, because I like them, and there was room to fit them in there :D

The burl looks really sweet. I was thinking of getting some Amboyna burl for headplates/rosettes, but this belizean rosewood burl looks awesome too.

Waterfall Bubinga - but I'm frozen in a state of "paralysis by analysis". I can't decide whether to put the sapwood in the center or the heartwood.

Curly Mac Ebony - already a drop top on one electric guitar, another bit waiting for the right set of curly sides...

Old-growth Brazilian Rosewood, c/o The Argentine - a friend's inheritance from his father who used to build grandfather clocks for the rich & famous in South America. Air dried for at least 40 years.

I have been hunting hard and squirreling away some very nice Madrose. Here is one of my piles, all QS, most figured. These are the bass FB's LMI was making their 4 pc sets from.

Here are a few choice examples (sorry for the poor photos/glare)

Another special flitch I have been saving is this one, some QS and very curly Osage Orange. The boards I got yielded about 5-7 sets depending on how careful I want to be... Here is a close up.

And last but not least (and technically not zoot, but oh well) is the only set I have seen (although I am sure someone else has done this) of genuine Walrus Oosik bridge pins. Kind of gross, kind of awesome, if I can say so myself.
