Post subject:  Snakewood bridge blank, anyone?

Hi all.

A customer would like to have a snakewood bridge and I don't know where I can find a bridge blank. LMII no longer carries it. I can get Snakewood logs for about 400$ but it's little bit more than I need. eek

So does anyone know where I could get a snakewood bridge blank?

Thanks!

http://www.gilmerwood.com/ usually carries Snakewood bridge blanks for around $25-$35. They have a $100 minimum order policy though.

If you can't find one, I've got a log I found for 80 bucks. Be happy to carve ya off a chunk.

Thanks a lot for all your replies!

I just sent a PM to Bob, I'll wait for his answer.

Haans, thank you very much for you offer, I might accept it if Bob can't help me.

Thanks again!

No it's for a dreadnought.

I'm sure I can manage to make a bridge with a weight within my standards. I usually make then with honduran rosewood, which is not exactly a light weight wood...
