Does anyone have any recommendations on a pickup system for a classical guitar? I've been thinking about the K&K classical but have no experience with it, so any feed back on that or any other system would be appreciated. Thanks |

Jim; I've used some Shadow and L.R.Baggs pickups for classicals. The Shadow is actually a saddle with a pickup adhered to it. sounds O.K. ! The baggs I-Beam is notched to fit over a center fan brace. You can get one passive or active . The Baggs sounds true to the guitars actual tone ! And if you get the passive one with their belt clip pre-amp it's a great system ! Plus they have a side mounted one with a notch filter added. great -but you have to cut a panel hole in the side ! Mics still work great ! But can be a pain . Mike |

Thank you Mike. I might try the Baggs. It's a 9 fan Fleta style, do you think it'll fit? |

LR Baggs is a nice system for classical, and B-Band is a good one as well (under saddle transducer for both). I'd say LR Baggs can be used as much for classical and steel string (with a microphone) as B-Band is a lot more efficient on nylon strings |
