Hi Guys, Been a while, but here is some more new stuff. A pure snow white pick guard (ouch), and a full showpiece koi pond. Routing the pick guard was fun.. ![]() Thanks for looking as always, Craig ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I love your work. Great stuff. Inlay is something I would like to learn to do. I have some some carvings where I have put in big pieces but not anything where there is to be a picture of something. Again great stuff and thank for showing it to us. Chuck |

Thanks so much, I love to see all the finished pieces from everyone here as well, it's the main reason I love this place. The process is great, but it's the end result that everyone loves to either hear, play, or stare at. I may not have the time to post comments about every finished piece I see, but know that I appreciate them all!! ![]() ![]() Craig |

Wow! That Koi pond is unreal. Can I ask how long that took? |

Post subject: | How long? |
Thanks guys again, How long did this one take? About 6-8 hours engraving, three drawing, two researching, 15 or so cutting ( maybe more- don't keep track) three to four routing? One hour or so sanding, maybe a half hour to an hour choosing materials. Maybe 42-43 hours or more total. Craig |

She loves turtles and would expect me to be able to do one that nice on her next guitar. Boy, would she be disappointed! |

Beautiful work Craig! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's going on an 8-string electric guitar? Dave F. |

Thanks again guys, it's greatly appreciated. Dave it's an 8 string acoustic. I can't wait to see it either, it should be interesting.. I have personally never seen nor played one before. Next up- a snorkeler on a Rickenbacker electric with some dolphins, a full blown mermaid and reef scene ukulele, the bluebird from the "Buffalo Springfield Again" album cover, some mountain scenery, and some orchard type stuff. Plenty on the docket. The economy must be getting better... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Craig |

Craig, Don't take this personally - but I pretty much hate you. ![]() I am not at all artistic. I couldn't draw myself out of a paper bag. ![]() You have a great gift and you work at what your are gifted for. You are truly blessed. Those are beautiful. Very nice work. I always love seeing your art, but it does make me feel like a clueless hack. Please continue to inspire us with these marvelous creation! |

Stunning! Your work is beautiful. Cherry is the lightest wood I have attempted. I can't even imagine white. Holy cow! Ken |
