Finally able to reduce the file size to send pictures. Yea!
I may still cut in a sound hole of some design.
Lousy photos....next, I need to work on photo skills.

Nice job on your first try, Kent. I see you found the perfect piece of wood for the arm rest. I hope it sounds as good as it looks.
I stopped by your website the other day. That Buffalo is too much!

I actually LOVE the feel of the (LARGE) armrest. As a player, I've always had a thing for comfort and this shape fills the bill for me......AND as the armrest area becomes worn (I will wear thru the finish), it won't take a major top or side refinish to restore the finish to the armrest. I taped several shapes to the guitar before making a decision to build and glue this particular shape.
The guitar does lack resonance compared to my purchased concert guitars ....but the sound value is very even between strings with the hi's and lo's. My other guitars have super projection...but have touchy tonal values with certain strings at certain frets. I still need to refine my set up (tiny adjustments in string height) as it seems just a bit tough to play.
My abalone inlay peghead was a learning process. I hand cut the peghead (MR. PURIST) for the inlay and that was a feat I'd rather not go thu again. I will invest in a router attachment for my foredom or dremel the next time I do an inlay of any kind.

The Buffalo doesn't play worth a darn....but feels good.
