Post subject:  What styles are most of you building?
I build mostly electric guitars and have built over 250 electrics. I have built about 7 acoustics mostly J200 style guitars with Bigsby style necks. I see a lot of OM style guitars on here that are very nice. What do you guys build?

Deep bodied OM's, OOO, and baritones.
I have not had one request for a dread.

Dreads, dreads, dreads. My customers are mainly bluegrass players. ~5 dreads for every other style.

I'd have to build the same kind of guitar more than once to really answer that question!

The only way that I could answer that would be to say Torres style classical.

All of them!

At any given time, I seem to have a couple electrics, a couple dreds, a couple OMs, and most recently, a classical sitting in various stages of construction.

I seem to start a lot more than I finish.

Woody, the Larson bros started building guitars and mandolins before the turn of the century (that other one). Among the brands they built under were Stahl, Maurer, Prairie State, Stetson, Euphonon, Champion, Dyer, etc. Innovations included laminated bracing, heavily arched tops and backs (pulled down under tension), "Tone Tube" (Prairie State). They are highly regarded for their tone...fingerpickers love them.

Right now a Sloped Shoulder Dred Baby in the vain of the Old Work Horse, The Great Gibson J-45. :P I want do a L-OO and a Torres clasical too and a ..... :D

Mostly Zion's (one of my designs) and SJ's some OM's. Never had a request for a Dread either...

First was a variant of a Martin OM that started out life as a kit and grew legs...

The second is a concert jumbo ala Rick Davis/Running Dog. With a wedge, and cutaway.

The next 3 will all be dreadnoughts. I'm a dreadnought kind of guy, although I am not strictly a bluegrass player. These will be attempts to improve on my HD-28 and Collings D2-H. If I am successful, I will probably sell those beloved instruments (reluctantly) and try something new.. a parlor, and perhaps a 12 string of some kind.

I have plans for all 3 of the OLF guitars, and will probably try building one of each of those just for fun at some point.

I haven't built anything yet. I am just starting to build my jigs and bending machine. I have plans for the mini jumbo, O00 and an L-00. I will most likely start with the 000 as a 14 fret.

I mostly build Karols (Signature, Solo, OM) ..... no dreads.

That is a very nice looking 12 ... but slot head string changes are an exercise in futility IMO ...not my cup of tea .... come to think of it, I dont like tea all that much either !!!!

Being new I didn't know there were plans for OLF guitars. Would someone please tell me what the plans are and where I can find them? It would be good to know what the cost is also.
