I just remembered this when posting in another thread. Bing.com is offering cashback on Ebay again. It got to 14% the other day (this is the same thing as MicroSoft CashBack).

There is a ton of info about how it works now on sawmillcreek (under Deals & Discounts). No need to publish it here.

Those of you wanting Grizzly tools could seriously benefit from this.

I just used it for the first time on Sunday. It was down to 12% by then, but hey, it's free money for something I was going to buy anyway.

I thought I read somewhere they are doing instant rebates now. True?

I just checked and the rebate is still showing as pending, so I wouldn't call it instant. I read that it may take 2 or 3 days before it actually shows up in the account. Since this is the first time I've used it, I can't say if that's different from they way it worked in the past.

I'm not seeing where Grizzly tolls is getting cash back. Also it looks like Tool King has Steel City on there, but some of their list prices are inflated compared to others like Highland Woodworking. Look at the 6" granite jointer. It shows the 799 price that other have when on bing, but then goes to 1199 on their site.

Do a search for Grizzly tools first using Bing. There will likely be something come up from ebay that has the cash back...at least it did when I tried earlier. If it does, click on it to go to ebay and you should be able to get the cash back. Just make sure that it shows the cash back that the you earn on the purchase before making the final commitment. BTW, this only works on a "Buy it Now" purchase.

I only see grizzly products when the cash back only option is off.

No doubt, it can be a pain. But I just bought those Hosco files using it. Saved $14.

If you have a mrrebates.com account, it is possible to "double dip" on the savings (13% from MS, 3% for mr rebates)

For those who want to go through the trouble, get a mrrebates.com account. Just sign up.

Now, go to Bing.com and search for grizzly band saw and click on the ebay cashback icon. Ebay will open and the cashback banner should show up. Login. It should still be there. Now search for whatever you want to buy. Keep checking that the cashback banner is there. Now, when you have found your item, copy the URL.

Now, go to mrrebates.com, login, and open an ebay session from there. Login. Now paste that whole URL in the URL box (from the previous ebay session). You should now see the cashback banner and the item you settled on. Make the purchase. You will get an indication that MS cashback applied (PAYPAL ONLY!!)

Later, check your MS Cashback account. It should show upo (eventually).

Next, you will recieve (eventually) an email from mrrebates.com that you earned cashback from them too.

The cashback amounts are different (depends on what bing is offering and what mrrebates is offering)

On my Hosco files, I got $13 from ebay and $3 from mrrebates.

Not great, not bad. But hey! It's my money!
