I like the Grizzly band saws and table saws. One of these days, I will get their 24"er.

Hi Thanks for all your responses so far, this forum has a fantastic community. I will need purchase a band saw for my workshop I am getting mixed messages on what specification to buy. I am not planning on splitting any large pieces of timber just tops and backs and the neck as far as I can see. (150mm depth max) What kind of performance - specification should I be looking at ? - It will have to be single phase John |

I dont know much about bandsaws but can tell you thats a very open ended question. What is your budget? That would narrow it down a bit. I have to buy a saw soon and will be getting a Laguna, however if I was in the states and could get a Grizzly that is the route I would probably go. But there is just so many options its staggering. |

Why would you get a Grizzly over a Laguna? Price? Bigger saw for the $$? To the OP, your question is indeed open ended. I think the very first thing you need to state is your budget. How much will you spend? BTY, Bing.com is offering 14% cashback on Ebay, meaning you can save money on Grizzly. Also, I think Grizzly is doing free shipping. Mike |

John, you mentioned need a transformer for the PC 310 in a other thread. I'm guessing here mind you, but I don't think you are residing in North America. We have members from around the world on the forum. If you let us know where you will be doing your shopping, you'll get more useful information and suggestions. |
