I would flood them now. You can also try to position the side on the plank in way that does not put the knot in any of the 3 tighter bend areas - I hope this makes sense. |

Hi Filippo I'm a complete novice so wait for more experienced builders to chime in. However, I've just made up a body in BRW which was in a pretty bad state with knots and cracks etc. I flooded the knots and cracks with CA and also filled with Epoxy and wood dust. I did this before and after thicknessing. I managed to bend the sides pretty good with no problems in the weakened areas. I have also read on here that due to it's proneness to cracking, a lot of builders are doing the Pore filling with CA. This seems like a good idea especially with the knot problem etc. It can only help. Anyways, like I say - best to wait for someone with some real experience to chime in.
