Post subject:  Willow as a top wood ?

Has anyone of you learned gentlemen any experience or thoughts about using willow for the top ( and maybe even the back).

Willow is much to weak . You need something with a good weight to strength ratio.

It makes great linings and blocks though. Just watch out, many people are allergic to willow dust.

On my First uke post the top on that is three piece willow its the stuff for lining for classical guitars and this piece had a stiffness like spruce
