You can buy nomex for much less at the same company LMI buys theirs from than buying it from LMI. I checked on this about five years ago when I used some with balsa wood to brace a guitar, a gentleman who builds violins uses balsa wood to build violins and they sound fantastic, it does not work well for guitars though. |

I think there are more than a few builders and players who might disagree with that statement. There are plenty of nice sounding Spanish guitars that use balsa/carbon fiber for bracing. keys1, what company did you buy your nomex from? |
