Post subject:  Two new ones, double O guitar & six string mezzo violin
Here are a couple of instruments that just left the shop.

The guitar is a double O, sitka top, curly mahogany back and sides, sapele neck, ebony fittings, inlay from DePaule luthier supply and Targets USL finish.

The violin is built on a small viola pattern, with a sitka top, red maple back and sides, ebony fittings, ebony veneered willow fingerboard for light weight, carved cat scroll and a spirit varnish by our friend Rodrigo Shopis.

Very nice Jordan. 00 is really a comfortable size. What did you use for fill on the rosettte?

I couldn't find any pics of the guitar headstock, but here is one of the "kitty"

We have done a bunch of savage looking big cats, with open mouths and pointy teeth, but this customer wanted a more friendly looking household type.

Dyed black epoxy, it was kind of a pain to get it into all the little crevices, but it turned out ok.

That's really cool. I also really like the way the frets do not go over the inlay. Well done!
