Nice photos - they sure can make a difference. I can't believe you're already done with #2 and I'm just finishing #1 idunno

Lars,
What a beautiful instrument, congratulations.
I hope my #2 looks half as good as yours. What is the rosette? Is it solid?

Lush! Looking good, Lars.

(O.T. I'm going to Sweden tomorrow, Trondhiem / Østersund / Luleå, in one day, by car... Wish me luck!)

Yep, that's one good looking guitar Lars! The photos are great!
I love the body shape you came up with on this and the bridge shape, looks like your going your own way with style! [:Y:]

Looking good, Lars! Nice photos too.

A good camera is nice to have, but IMO, it's mostly setup and lighting. A good photographer can get surprisingly good shots with a mediocre camera, and conversely, bad photos can come out of a really good camera. Have a look at the photo tutorial on luthiercom.org in the Marketing 101 forum if you're interested. It's geared toward photographing your guitars with a point and shoot and very informative.

Lars... Great looking guitar and the photos look nice. I really like your bridge design and the pins are a nice touch... what are they?
for what it's worth... the headstock shots always look better to me with the buttons all looking at the camera.

Also...what Pat said is exactly right!!

I will keep this in mind for the next time, thanks for the great advice my friend. I havent really checkt what the pins are hmm haha. think they are ebony with pearl, I got them from John Hall at bluescreek, they sure looks nice.

Ed-Rosette is Koa. your will look even better, just take your time and have patience, :? . thats the tricky part. Good thing for me was that it took some time between shippings from the states to Sweden, so I got some free time and patience :D .

Joe-Thanks for the ever kind words !! its fun to come up with new shapes [:Y:]

Again, thanks a million for all your encourangement (how to spell that) I really hope we can all get together soon to meet in person, just wish it wer´nt so darn far between USA and Sweden. I will do my best though to be there for the next get-together meeting.

Sincerely , your friend Lars.

Lars, it turned out beautiful. You did a great job, especially for just getting started.

Professional photos can make a big difference. Pat was right that set up and lighting usually mean more than how expensive the camera is. I would make on observation on the background. The pleats are deep and dark, causing dark strips that are a bit distracting. In the first photo, the headstock blends into the curtain.

Keep them coming.

Lars, I meant is the rosette a one solid piece of wood or segmented? If so how many pieces? Oh and by the way I have family in Halmstad, although I have never been to Sweden but really want to go someday.
