A friend of mine living in the Denver area recently inherited a Martin 00-18C (he believe's it's a 1962, which is the first production year). He sent me a picture of it and asked if A) I was interested in buying it (i'm not very interested), or B) if I could help him find someone who could look it over and assess it's condition and value, so he can sell it to someone else. I'm looking to give him a reference to a local Denver area luthier/tech who could give a fair assessment of the instruments value, and perhaps some advice on how/where to sell it. Here is a link to a picture. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/50 ... directlink According to him it's been in it's case in a closet for most of it's life, and appears to be in mint condition. Thanks in advance |

Oh wow, I wish,.......that is a nice guitar, he could put it up at the AFG forum, or ask at the "Martin" forum (or you could). I will be happy to play it if he is around the Boulder area, just to make sure its a nice guitar... ![]() |

Tell him to look up Edward Dick at the Ole Town Pickin Parlor in Arvada. He should be able to give you an honest evaulation of the guitar. |
