Just finished up #4, and figured I'd pop up a couple of pics. Picked up the body woods and bridge at the Martin Factory when I went for a tour. Really need to say thanks to Gail, as she helped me pick through the piles of back and sides, until I found a set I wanted. If you take the time to pick through everything there, you can find some great stuff. Got 2 Pau Ferro bridges that were rejected because 1 wing was thinner than the other. I measured about .010" difference. Works for me!
Back and sides are Sapele
Top sitka, the rosette I can't take credit for, as it was done by the folks at the Martin factory.
Bridge, fingerboard, and headplate are all Pau Ferro
Tortise shell binding
Gotoh open back tuners.
Finish is EM 6000, brushed
Don't mind the warts, I won't make those stupid mistakes again!!

How did the EM6000 work out for you? Was it your first time to use it? I've got a gallon sitting here screaming to be used. How many brush applications did you apply and did you have to thin it before hand?
