That's pretty much the question in the title. How does it bend? Also how does it work for bridge blanks and fretboards. And it's general workability. Pretty expensive wood to screw up.

Chris,

I bend it in my Fox bender just like any other wood. I will say my bindings in all cases are smaller than most (0.17x.07), but I've not had any problems at all.

I bend and use snakwood all the time. Bend it like any other stuff. I don't ever use anything to determine temp and just bend when start steaming. Speed wise same as sides. I use baking parchment rather than kraft paper, it seems to hold the water spritz to me a little better and not ever get any junk on the wood.

Just do it in your side bender.

So far good to hear. Anything else I should know about how it saws , sands or finishing. Anything nasty from the dust out of the norm? Anything tonal to worry about using it for a bridge?
I just ordered a what to me seems expensive board of it that I'm hopping to get two sets of boards and bridges and binding from and maybe veneers. Although binding may be the one to sacrifice and order in addition. It probably sounds silly but I'm excited about it.

Another tip, don't leave it in the bender too long. I thought I'd just cook it a little extra to make it hold the bend and burned a set crisp. There is less mass in there to hold that heat when bending just bindings. Usually I will bend wooden binding taped right along with the sides.

Yeah I hear you. I'll bend the purfs along with them but that ain't adding anything. Maybe I'll bend another set of sides and start another box. No use in wasting all that electric for 4 strips of binding. I have some Amazon RW wanting to be used. ;)

Chris, I haven't had any problems bending it either.
And I just use an electric pipe.
The weight might give me pause as far as using it for bridges.
Just consider that (weight issue) when you plan your guitar.
It's as tough as nails as far as sanding, but man it smells nice!
