It was great. The show was very well attended, it had a great venue, the city is .... amazing... It was great.

It is always fun to hang out with the other builders, and I made a few very solid connections that I hope will turn into business.

It was a great time for Marion and I .... went to an Italian restaurant on Bill Tippin's recommendation, and it was truly one of the best meals we have ever had ... (DaVinci's, on Bishop). Sort of a celebration for selling the baritone I had brought to the show.

Always great to see folks from south of the border, see whats new, meet up with Maurice the sitka/cedar wood man from the Queen Charlottes (yeah, kinda celebrated there too, if you catch my drift !!!), Madinter, Madieros-Barber .. spread it around some !!!!

Yup, had a great time. The Saturday party was a little loud for this old guy's ears, but the food was the best yet. Got to chat with some folks I know, and met a couple I hadn't met yet, like Bob Benedetto. Thanks for the strings, Bob! It was a particular thrill to have my name drawn from the hat to build one for the collection; I hope I can live up to the high standards already set. Oh yes, and I got to stand out front and listen to some really good players using my guitars, instead of sitting in back listening to me do it. Boy, what a difference THAT makes!
