This is obviously a Bulgarian guitar. Or more likely German.
I wouldn't worry too much of it's worth, it is maybe worth more in Bulgaria than in the US.

Hi all, A mate of mine has gone back to Bulgaria to visit family and found this old guitar in his Grandfathers attic. Apparently it was stolen 50 years ago and the thief put some varnish on it to diguise it. They think it is well over 90 years old, but don't know much more about it. My mate wanted to pull the neck off so that he could put it in his carry-on luggage. I've told him not to do anything to it at all, and to bring it home in one piece. Anyone know who the maker might have been, and is it worth anything? |
