Among lots of other projects, I've been working on my Healdsburg offerings for the big show in August. I'm using Amazon RW for the first time and if this stuff sounds as good as it taps, it may be my go to BRW substitute. It's a little heavier than BRW, but it works very similar and looks spectacular under finish. (I've already lacquered it , but no pics yet.) Here's a few pics of two of the three I'm planning to bring. BRW/Adi 00-13 fret with Snakewood appointments and abalone rosette and top border Amazon RW/Lutz OM with curly koa binding I'm also planning on bringing my OM 30's prototype. I built this one with early 30's specs (ebony reinforced neck, bar frets, banjo tuners, etc.) A fun build and I plan to do lots more of the vintage stuff. Thanks for the progress report Jimmy. Looks like we're at about the same place of incompletion. I am really looking forward to meeting you, and being inspired by your work. Steve |

They look great Jimmy. See you at Healdsburg. What scale are you using on that 13 Fret? |
