Does anyone have any feedback regarding either the stearated aluminum oxide paper or the stearated lightweight silicon carbide paper that Klingspor sells?

Thanks in advance--Jay

From everything I've heard, the Klingspoor papers are fine.

I should have been clearer with my question. What I'm wondering is whether anyone out there has used either of those Klinspor products to sand between series of lacquer coats, and/or if one seems to work better than the other. Thanks.

I use it and buy the psa disc. It works just fine and comes in grits to at least 1000.

The Klingspor products are very good. I use the economy lightweight silicon carbide paper with my 5 inch orbital sander and it works great. The price is right too. A 50 pack H & L for $5.00. Grits from 80 to 400. I think you will like the their paper.

Klingspor products are really great !
And they offer many different price ranges in sandpaper.
Sterated paper ;a Zinc Sterate coating is applied to help keep the paper free of clogs.
This is fine for most woods & finishes but NOT waterbase ones.
