Here is my latest, #92 in European Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood. This one follows the previous dimensions and bracing pattern of the #90 Cypress guitar and features a Spanish cedar neck with the "V" joint, Reischl machines and a French polish finish.
The rosette and matching purflings are of my own design and will be featured in an upcoming article in Guitar maker magazine.
Please stop by my table if you're at either one of these events and say hello!

Best

I am too. I look forward to seeing you at ASIA, David, and your guitar, of course. I'm still trying to get the FP done on my #2, to bring with me. Last night, I whacked it against the Radial Arm Saw table, as I was leaving the shop. Arrgh! [headinwall]

Time to replace the whole body, Waddy wow7-eyes

Nice guitar, David. I wish I were going to be at ASIA to see it and everyone, but ... wait, I'm going to be in Istanbul, what am I complaining about? (Think I could hide an Oud in the luggage on the way home? :D :D )

Looks great!

I think a trip to either ASIA or Asia would be fun. Count me in.

David, looking at your guitar, and the question that I want to ask is this. with 92 guitars under your belt, what challenges and goals do you have for the next 92?

I think Doug that just makng it through another 92 would be enough.......!......<grin>
Seriously though, I want to progress to the point where I'll no longer have to struggle to get the results I want and the entire process will feel easier..............
But I'm beginning to think that point may not exist.

David, as always, truly masterful aesthetics and execution on your guitar. Anything special planned for #100, got to be FE08 surely?

Great looking guitar David, I always enjoy seeing your work. I like the bindings, what wood did you use? How about a close-up of the v-joint and Reischls

Gorgeous guitar, David! I look forward to seeing and hearing it in person at the GFA.

The binding is maple with a soft flame figure.

Here are the Reischls, bone buttons with Ivoroid rollers and matte gold plain side plates:

Thanks Colin, would you settle for FE09? I've been making some (albeit slow) progress on that one and hope to have it done by the fall (tornavoz and all). I also decided to make it as it was originally...with friction pegs.
