I came across this chart and thought it might be of interest, I have been somewhat careless around wood dust and this was an eye opener to me. This site also has a lot of info on dust collection

I would not place a lot of faith in this data. It appears to be anecdotal and unscientific. For instance, sassafras causes nausea and cancer, but the incidence is "unknown"; teak causes scrotal swelling; reactions to oleander are common (have you worked with wood recently?), Port Orford cedar causes giddyness and "violent" earaches; opepe causes "blood spitting"; wenge can cause drowsyness, making it a good choice for bedroom furniture. The merchant who apparently compiled this table sells wood dust collection machinery and admits that it may not be accurate. Some would call this fear mongering.
I hope we all know that wood dust should stay out of our respiratory tracts, period, and have the common sense to know that if you introduce a new wood into your workplace and go into convulsions after slicing it up you should probably throw it in the trash heap. [xx(]
