I am very happy and honored to announce that «The Responsive Guitar», a collection of two books on the art of making a guitar by master luthier Ervin Somogyi will be officially launched at the Montreal Guitar Show on Friday July 3, 2009 at 6:00 pm.

We will have the pleasure of getting the first copies out of the printer that will be for sale at the Montreal Show.

Mr. Somogyi has been making guitars for over 40 years and is one of the most highly respected first-generation American luthiers. Known internationally as a guitar maker, he also lectures, teaches, designs, and has written dozens of articles on instrument making and its history. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to obtain a part of guitar history.

For more info on the books and on a very special guitar that will be showcased at the show, you can read this interview.
