I've seen Alaskan Yellow Cedar used on a necks for classicals, but has anyone used it or seen it used on steel strings, other that the Petros Yellow Rose?

Anyone know a source for neck blanks? I'm thinking of trying it.

-You could try Brent Cole at Alaska Specialty Woods. ~CW

I have a couple of small logs that I will be processing into some neck blanks as well. But they wouldn't be ready for a while yet.
