Those horn picks sold by inlaidartist, I wouldn't use them, because I got 2 free ones from ordering some inlays (and they only gave me 45 dots rather than 50 dots as originally ordered) and nut/saddle blanks from him and when I tried to use it the string would just tear the heck out of the pick, it basically would start to delaminate unless you have a very light touch. Those plastic nylon picks are much more durable. just a little heads up. The nut and saddle blanks looks good but they had uneven surfaces that was not square but even nut blanks from LMI isn't square. They seem to have polished it before sending it... which wasn't necessary since most people using them are gonna cut them up anyways. |

Horn is just so variable, some may be good, but I've never seen any. |

i know he sent me some paper thin ones , i complained so he sent me some more substantialy thicker ones .the only horn I have liked consistantly, are the thicker ones, but amber, black, and brown all seem to have differing sounds .working the edges with sand paper brings limited success.! jody |

I bought a bunch of buffalo bone nut blanks from him. Not square but it doesn't matter as they are extra thick and tall. I was very happy with 20 blanks for 20 bucks including shipping. |
