I decided to make my own neck centerline finder today. So I went over to St. Petersburg to get some plexi. The plastic distrubuter had a 12" X 12" X 1/2" piece laying around in the back and a 1/4" X 20" X 44" cut off piece in the front of Poly that I picked up for $25. Pretty good score I think. I was looking for plexi and I have never used Poly before because of the price. I just cut three 3" strips. Man that's stuff sure is sweet compared to Plexi. For those of you who work with poly is there anything I should be aware off about it. I'm now thinking about making a Sharkguard for the table saw from it and I'm wondering if I heat it with a heat blanket will it bend like plexi?

Thanks Todd, I was hoping you would reply. I knew you used it and figured you knew about it. Good stuff to know.

I wish I could laser-cut Lexan (polycarbonate) without all the poison fumes and messy burned edges.... :(
