I would put the brace in.
It would simply stiffen the area which near the neck is desirable.

i'm gluing up my braces as i'm typing here, and i was just wondering since i am using a kind of spanish heel if i would be better off eliminating the upper bout brace if i put it in there will be gap of only 3/4" between the brace and the end of the heel. The heel is bowled to the 20' radius as the rest of the back.oh, and it's a cutaway so it will be well supported on that side. Thanks, Frank |
