I just sprayed the em-6000 on my guitar, 8 coats level sand, then 4 more coats, on the back it seems like the finish is shinier around the edges in about 4 inches the center is much duller will this be ok after i do the final sand and buffing?, btw the top seems fine other than alot of dust nibs in the finich, tried everything to stop this from happening but oh well. |

Its hard to say anything without seeing it.. but, maybe what you are seeing is an area in the center of the back where the overspray from the sides "misted" over the already partially cured back, which could possibly leave a dull looking spot in the middle, while burning in enough around the edges to remain shiny... does that make sense and seem possible? If that is what it is, it will level and buff out perfecly fine. The Target stuff tacks up so fast, that if you spray the back/top first, by the time you spray the sides the plates are partially cured and any overspray just kind of sits on top. |
