Post subject:  needed thicknessing table for belt sander

I have seen several of these on different websites and posts, John Mayes shows one on his DVDs.
I am looking for plans or just some good pics of a tilting table for a horizontal belt sander to use for thicknessing headstock, braces etc. i have the Rikon 6x48 table top.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have been doing some searches but have come up empty.

Thanks
Richard

Most of us make our own, a peice of hard wood a hinge and an all thread with a nut to raise and lower it

I made mine up as I went along, used a piece of piano hinge and a 6" turnbuckle, just stuff laying around the shop. 2 things I noted: 1) make sure the table is parallel to the roller so when you thickness headstocks they will be even and, 2) check that there is adequate room for the headstock to go in without hitting the sander body (probably not an issue for you, my sander is a 4 x 36).
