Post subject:  First Build-Small Guitar Plan Recommendation

I have been reading and absorbing all the information you folks have posted over the years-Thanks-It has been a real education!

I a planning my first guitar and am looking for any recommendation on plans for a smaller guitar for my daughter. I have searched for plans, looked at various suppliers and have seen the terms "parlor", 3/4 size, OO, OOO?

I hoping someone can make a recommendation on a set of plans that they have previously built, and liked.

Thanks for all the great advice you folks have posted

Steve

Hi Steve, welcome to the OLF,

I'd recommend the L-OO plans from GAL (Guild of American Luthier's). They are a great set of plans with excellent detail. A nice small guitar too.

Thanks to all. Nice to know the help is there when you need it.

This first build is really more of a practice build-I have a lot of wood so the cost should not be a big drain. Once I have the confidence, I'll move up to nicer wood from one of the suppliers here.

Thanks again!!

Steve
