I want to slot the bridge to use unslotted pins and put some string ramps in a guitar I have that could use a better break angle. I'm sure this is a simple procedure but I couldn't find any how to guides and I want to do it right. Anyone got a link to a tutorial?

StewMac has a little hand saw or better yet make one with a narrow jigsaw blade. Bosh has a blade that works well and fits the pin holes. Widen and final shape with needle files.

I use a Dremel with a #113 bit.
It's a engraving bit so it cuts with out all the pull you'd get from a router type bit.
Plus it leaves a round slot;
not square.
