Jane and I have landed in Charlotte and I am unpacking boxes and assembling furnature at an unprecendented rate! I ran across by set of plans for the slope-shouldered dred and was wondering if anyone has tackled it yet.

It will be at least a month to get the shop going as the owner of the place hasn't yet vacated the garage! Maybe I could trade the old Chevy in there for a new table saw. It must be worth something even though its near as old as I am - a 56 or 57 I think. laughing6-hehe

Anyway, good to say hi again and be back online.

I don't know what plans you are talking about but here's one ready for finishing that came from Mike Collins' J45 plans that I change a few things on. Laskin Armrest, Ribrest, Doolin Adjustable Neck Joint and Elliott/ Doolin Pinless Bridge.

I've built several Slope shouldered dreds. I didn't use any plans. I pattered them partly off of a Gibson Advanced Jumbo and a J45. I guess I'm close enough to welcome you to Charlotte. I'm in Grover NC a mile off Interstate 85 at the NC/SC state line.

Thanks guys! I'll miss some friends in Michigan, but I certainly will not be missing the weather!
