Just a bump to keep this near Todd's post. What he did deserves public acknowledgment on my part.

Link-one nice thing about this thread is I found out there is another Krenov student on the OLF. When were you there? I was in Fort Bragg for two years, 1983 and 84 and learned more than in any other 20 years of my life. I still build furniture, but I built myself a guitar and couldn't stop-seems like a life-long addiction.

Peace, Paul

Paul,
I actually PM you on this site when I first started posting as I recognized your name and something you said about wood planes. [:Y:]
We have met several times but it was over 20 years ago. You were one of the originals. I still remember the desk you built. I was there 2 years starting in 86. Dave Finck was in his second year then. I still see the "old man" every couple of months. 88 or 89 I can't remember but he is still kicking. Get my phone # from David, lets talk.

I'm just happy when people notice there is still some portions of California north of SF and Sacramento. :D

I use to live in Arcata, near Eureka. I like that part of California - it's completely different from San Francisco and parts south.
