Hi Folks,

Quick question. What is the optimal clamp time for fish glue? I glued the back to the rims yesterday, and left in the go-bar clamped throught the night. This morning I glued up the top. I am heading out for a business trip early tomorrow, and wanted to unclamp this evening - should that be ok (about 12 hrs)?

Here is the back being glued:

And the top:

Thx!!

Ya, for fish glue you're good to unclamp after 4 hours. Don't stress any joints though for at least 12 hours, preferably18- 24.

I usually clamp at night and the next night I'm good to go.

The Lee Valley fish glue instructions say to clamp for 12 hours.
