Lance was so kind as to host these for me... They were recorded with a K5M44 Condenser mic (that was not particularly placed) through a Black Lion preamplifier. All was flat...I would love to hear your thoughts. http://kragenbrinkguitars.com/music_sam ... Track1.mp3 http://kragenbrinkguitars.com/music_sam ... I think the good bass was a result of an 'oops' - I sanded the top down to the point that Lance shrugged his shoulders when he flexed it and said "we'll see"...but I wanted my rosette to be perfect ![]() I think I got lucky... Thanks!!! |

Sounds terrific Steve, with no caveats about it being your first! So, like, how do you do this?? (post a clip to your website, assuming you had a website) in terms the moronically challenged (computer-wise) can understand? |

Dave, I will have to refer to Lance for most of this, but after you have your files and you convert them to something, you have to upload them to a server somewhere. Then they will have a web address and be able to be accessed by all... Maybe Lance will chime in here and give the specifics... Thanks! Stephen |

yup thats it, once you upload them, all you do then is post the URL to the song file by using the URL button above. It should look something like this Attachment: Untitled.jpg

".....after you have your files and you convert them to something" Thanks guys. And, backing up a bit (sorry for such a basic question), how do you get from an audio tape of your clip to a digital file/"converted" (?!?) on your computer? |

Ok, 2 Q's: What are the woods, and what was the top thickness? It seems to have brought out the bass end pretty good! |

B&S are granadillo, top is sitka with sitka bracing... I cannot remember 100%, but the top cam in at about .105-.11" Stephen |

Sounds very good, maybe even a little "tight"- Is that the impression you get? Did you follow the brace pattern exact, and where the braces carved eliptical? ![]() I guess Im in charge of post-build interigation! |
