greetings all- Did a little searching through the archives on this subject this morning as well as I'm curious how many members here might be from the Seattle area or the Pacific NW in general? Would anybody happen to be able to recommend a list of luthiers or lutherie organizations that might be operating in the area and that one should be aware of and and are good resources? (I'm doing a little looking ahead for possible relocation closer to family in WA state and would really like to get a jump on my homework now to learn who might be doing what out there.) I did find the seattleluthiers.org site and that looks like great start... Many thanks for any help you can give! Dave |

Hi Dave: There are lots and lots of builders in the PNW. Lots in Seattle. Are you looking for guitar builders? Steel string or classical? Other instruments? |

Oh,I should have told you to join their email list. They tend to send more email announcements out then post on their bulletin board. |

Dave, the Seattle Luthiers group usually meets the second Tuesday of the Month often at Gurien's barge or Running Dog Guitars and sometimes other places. If you are on the mailing list you will be notified of the next meeting - likely March 10th. Rich |
