HEY OLF! Paul does not know that im posting this here, but I thought id do it anyways. Hope its ok buddy! Our pal Paul Woolson will be participating in a fantastic cause to fight MS! If you want to help out, feel free to read the text below and follow the links for an easy to use donation form. Thanks for your efforts and a HUGE HAND to Paul for his commitment! Attachment: bikephotos_09.jpg Hi there, Again I'm taking on the challenge of the Kortelopet (Nordic skiing half marathon). This year I'm taking on another challenge of raising sponsors for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I'd really appreciate your help. Their site makes it really easy to donate and all pledges are due by Feb. 20 so please don't wait. Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). That's why I'm partnering with the National MS Society - Wisconsin Chapter and why I'm asking you to support my fund raising efforts with a tax-deductible donation. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Wisconsin Chapter's goal is a world free of MS, but they can't do it without our help. It's faster and easier than ever to support this cause that's so important to me. Simply click on the link at the bottom of this message. If you prefer, you can send your contribution to the address listed below. Any amount, great or small, helps to make a difference in the lives of people with MS. I appreciate your support and look forward to letting you know how I do. Thanks much!! Paul P.S. For some of the newer members Paul was a huge contributor to the OLF in years past and one of my own favorite Luthiers. He trained with Charles Fox and as Paul progressed he adopted a style that is minimalistic and lets the superb woods that he selects speak/sing sweetly for themselves. Last year Paul's road trip guitar made a stop with Acoustic Guitar magazine and was played and recorded by the editor. The result was that AG rated this guitar and Paul's talents as superb. I agree wholeheartedly. Paul is also a courageous dude who made the decision to pursue Lutherie as a full time profession. I spent a couple of years watching this pan out for Paul and my understanding is that he now has an over 12 month waiting list!!! Paul is a great guy, intelligent, caring, dedicated, and talented. As such as soon as I shut the heck up here and hit the "submit" button I am going to the link that Lance posted and do my part to help our friend Paul a superb Luthier with a conscience. It would be great if others saw fit to pitch in too. Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
