Had a great time with Bob Benedetto last Saturday at Red Rocks Community College. Bob came in to town to learn Robbie's method of French Polish, and was kind enough to do a 1 hour question and answer with the Lutherie department. He told some great stories of building, and answered a lot of questions. He is a very humble and true gentleman. I'm very happy to have met him, what a great experience. It really was an honor to meet Mr. Benedetto. What an incredibly nice and humble man. I really enjoyed when someone asked what he was "most proud of", or something like that, and Bob said, "I really don't think about things like that." Anyway, it was pretty cool just to get to be around the guy. I also enjoyed that he ordered a glass of wine at the crappy Mexican restaurant we went to. |
