Bob, Did you mean this site? I could not get your url to come up. I just did a search on eBay and found this. http://cgi.ebay.com/Luthiers-Ultimate-Inlay-Bit-Set-carbide-end-mill-router_W0QQitemZ170294831193QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item170294831193&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 |

Sounds like a good deal. The same bits cost $20 bucks more at Stew-Mac. Wish I wasn't broke, I'd bid on them. |

I have been looking at 'upcut' bits, because they are so cheap. How 'bad' are they in comparison to down draft? Do they spray wood shavings all over the place? 1/8-1/4. Is 1/4 too large for a rosette trough? ![]() |

I've recently found that the 1/8" up cut (end mills) work just fine for cutting out rosette channels, they really are quite small and don't fray the edges much (because they are such a small bit). Going bigger might make the fraying worse. The 1/32" end mills that I bought for $3.75 each from eckotoolsupply are great. Perfect for inlay work. |

I actually discount them for members of the `Ukulele Guild of Hawai`i. Of course, I'd do the same here as well. Shameless self promotion - is that allowed? |

I bought a set of these a couple months back, and they are good as far as I can tell, only used one bit so far. Being Canadian it was nice to get a Ebay seller that did not inflate the shipping cost to Canada. It is a nightmare what some sellers want for shipping. Fred |

I bought a set of these from Aaron, and THOUGHT I had a problem with one bit. I asked Aaron for a replacement, and before I could blink, he sent me two replacements. The problem turned out to be the bearing in my router causing a bit of run-out at the quill, and some chatter at the bit. I owe Aaron for the replacement bits. Great guy, I will buy from him again. |
