Thanks Bob!
As you can see from the shots at the show, the formula only works at my place. but I do have a process. It's pretty simple.
No flash, room lighting, play with the exposure to light, and a good tripod. I never add lighting, or do photos outside. Normally I take 8-10 shots (max) then go from there. I don't shoot all day. There is no editing except for contrast, and sharpness sometimes. I also try to shoot on a white background.

The home photos are on a Canon g-9 (really amazing for the price) the show images with a Nikon D-90, hand held, p mode exposure at +1, color vivid, sharpness +6. They look pretty poor though. It was hard to work with the "car showroom" atmosphere. I have recently moved to all Nikon for inlay images.

Craig

If you don't mind sharing Craig, how did you do the little white bits ("white horses") in the blue water?

Cheers,
Dave F.

Hi again and thanks again, you guys are really great friends, clients, and peers. Seems this is how the acoustic industry works in general. beehive

I erased the price off the tag to remain professional. It's out there in other forums if anyone is interested, I just didn't feel it was my place to deal with that end of things. If the tag looks weird compared to other photos you may see, that's why.

By the way, Thanks so much for the really generous comments, but Larry, Grit, and Chuck Erickson, and now likely Harvey Leach are legends. This is just my first at bat with a company this size. Guess maybe I am fairy tale level.. :D

Heartfelt thanks,
Craig

Ditto that. Where you from Aaron?

Kapolei - the second city. You (besides Spokane)? Very Feng Shui on the headstock - I have bamboo elements around my home.

That's an incredible beautiful piece of art! And on what is in lots of folks minds the benchmark for the acoustic guitar. Congratulations on being commissioned to work with CF Martin.
